WHEN
The 2024 edition of the piano competition will be held from 22-28 July at the Westerford High School music auditorium.
The Prize Winners Concert is at 3 pm on Sunday 28 July also at Westerford High School.
WHAT
The Western Cape Piano Festival Competition was created for piano teachers and piano departments of schools in the greater Cape Town area to celebrate piano teaching and to provide a platform for piano performance.
Competing pianists will be given a written report including comments, a score for their performance, and a certificate.
Category winners are invited to the Prize Winners Concert and will receive monetary prizes.
WHO
The competition is for young pianists ranging from 6 to 19 years of age who perform live for an expert adjudicator.
